2020 was the first full year of my blog. I wrote more than in 2019, but I still focused on the topics I find the most compelling to you: career and travel. I also published more articles on remote work and home office, which became especially interesting during the pandemic.
Take a look at the most-read posts of 2020. Have you read all of them?

Sailing has been my passion and my favorite way of traveling for many years. Nevertheless, it surprised me that so many of you love this topic as well.
In this post, I asked a few great professional sailors about their thoughts and experiences regarding their everyday work. They talk about swimming with dolphins, watching a SpaceX rocket launch from a boat, and other unique perks of this job, as well as the sacrifices it requires.
As you’ll see, sailing for a living is more than a job—it’s a way of life.
In 2020, many of us realized how much we love traveling and how much we miss it when it becomes limited or even impossible for some time.
And many of you realized that you don’t want to spend your future years in an office.
This article shows a few different ways to turn this dream into reality. I describe the ones that are the most common or easy to implement.
I’ll be exploring the topic of combining a successful career and traveling in 2021, too. Stay tuned!:)
Morocco is an intriguing blend of cultural and religious traditions, dramatic landscapes, delicious food and hospitable people. In winter, the country shows it’s more authentic side because it’s visited by far fewer tourists than in high season.
If you plan a winter escape to Morocco, the itinerary I designed (and used myself) is absolutely fantastic. I enjoyed every day of the trip and every place I stayed at.
This post was No. 2 on the list of the most-read posts of 2019.
In 2020, it was still popular because creating an additional income source while still working full-time is a vital step towards financial freedom.

“Beyond passion” is a post I based on my experiences. Some of my projects that I hadn’t been passionate about initially turned out to be very profitable business adventures—while some other ideas resonated with my passions but ultimately turned into a flop.
The connection between passion and finding a perfect career isn’t as straightforward as many people think. So, what’s the alternative?
I write about it in this post.
In this article, I gathered 18 ideas that seem to be common knowledge—but somehow, we tend to forget about many of them while making everyday decisions.
Life isn’t safe or predictable.
Everyone faces fear, even the bravest people you know.
Whenever you feel your life lacks a clear vision, you’ll find these truths helpful.
I’ve always read and spoken a lot in English, but my first attempts at writing in this language felt like treading through a minefield. My phrases could be grammatically correct, but just one unfortunate word was enough to make them sound a bit awkward to native speakers.
Writing this blog has been a fantastic experience, with a steep learning curve.
Look what I’ve learned so far about writing in English as a non-native.
It’s another 2019 post that stays true and up-to-date until now. Many readers told me it was eye-opening for them!
Small savings aren’t as crucial to your financial status as you might think.
Buy yourself a cup of coffee (or a good drink) and read this post.
You won’t regret it!
Becoming a digital nomad in 2020 was challenging (to say the least).
But this non-traditional, exciting lifestyle still attracts many people who want to have the possibility to work from anywhere in the world.
If you dream about this freedom and diversity, too, don’t miss my article.
Last year, many of us worked from home, and some of us went remote for good.
But working from home has many faces, and it definitely has many challenges. It’s a blessing to self-disciplined, creative people—and a nightmare for those who love the exact boundaries between work and leisure.
In this post, I gathered tips that will help anyone who wants to be productive in their home offices.
How about you?
